Shipping Information

Order Processing

All orders are processed within 1-2 business days (excluding weekends and holidays). You’ll receive a confirmation email with tracking information once your order ships.

Shipping Options

We offer two convenient shipping methods to get your gear to you:

  • Standard Shipping ($12.95) – via DHL or FedEx (10-15 business days after shipping)
  • Free Shipping – via EMS for orders over $50 (15-25 business days after shipping)

Note: We ship globally except to Asia and certain remote areas. International customers may be subject to customs fees which are the responsibility of the recipient.

Returns & Exchanges

We stand behind our premium fly fishing equipment, but understand that sometimes adjustments are needed. Our return policy is designed with the same attention to detail as our fly tying.

Eligibility

  • Returns must be initiated within 15 days of receiving your order
  • Items must be in original condition with all tags attached and packaging intact
  • Proof of purchase from flytackleco.com is required

Important Exceptions: For hygiene and safety reasons, Fly Line & Tippets and any opened Flies and Fly Tying materials cannot be returned unless defective.

Return Process

  1. Initiate Your Return: Email our customer service team at [email protected] within 15 days of receiving your order. Include your order number and item details.
  2. Wait for Authorization: Our team will review your request and provide return authorization within 2 business days.
  3. Package Your Item: Securely pack the item in its original packaging with all accessories and documentation.
  4. Ship Your Return: Send the package to our Nashville facility using a trackable shipping method:

    You are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error.

  5. Inspection & Processing: Once received, we’ll inspect the item within 3-5 business days and process your refund or exchange.

Refund Information

  • Refunds are processed within 5 business days after we receive and inspect your return
  • Original shipping fees are non-refundable
  • Refund methods and timelines:
    • Credit/Debit Cards (Visa, MasterCard, JCB): 3-10 business days depending on your bank
    • PayPal: 3-5 business days

Exchange Policy

We’re happy to exchange items for a different size or color (subject to availability):

  • Follow the standard return process and specify your desired exchange item in your email
  • If the exchange item costs more, you’ll need to pay the difference
  • If it costs less, we’ll refund the difference

Defective or Incorrect Items

If you receive a defective item or incorrect product, contact us immediately at [email protected]. We’ll cover return shipping costs and expedite your replacement.

International Returns

For international returns (excluding Asia and certain remote areas):

  • You are responsible for all return shipping costs and any applicable customs fees
  • We recommend using a trackable shipping service
  • Declare the package as a “Returned Good” with minimal value to reduce customs fees
